In recognition of the St. Lawrence University Presidential Diversity Scholarship founded in 1999, Kirk Douglas (class of 1939) donated $5 million to establish the Kirk Douglas Scholarship Fund. The Scholarship Fund is bestowed on worthy minority students with the intention of supporting them throughout all four years of college. A subsequent grant from the Foundation has increased the University’s support to $8 million.
